About Hope Beyond Bars
Our Vision
Our vision is to equip volunteers, staff and offenders on the Jesus model of Kingdom reproduction.
Our Core Values
To empower, love, and partner with the body of believers at prison facilities including offenders, staff, and other ministries partners already serving in a particular unit, while building accountability. We empower offenders and staff to be accountable for their lives and be transformed by Jesus Christ.

At Hope Beyond Bars, we believe in the importance of compassion, kindness, and respect. We strive to embody these principles in everything we do, and we encourage others to do the same.

Strength In Numbers
We believe in the power of relationships to build community within a prison unit along with outside ministries and leaders who are willing to volunteer and partner with us. We do this by respecting, validating, and listening to others and modeling short accounts.
Team Strategy
At Hope Beyond Bars we work directly with leadership and staff at chosen prison facilities to gain trust, partnership, and cooperation to develop the right plan for
the specific needs at each facility and leadership team.
The Power of Integrity
We believe that we must be honest and truthful in our personal conduct as we represent Jesus Christ. We want to be obedient to God in everything we do and represent Him as best as we know how.improve concentration, and enhance overall well-being.
Discipleship
. Model the Love of Christ to the most forgotten and taboo people group (modern day lepers)
· Use the multiplication model of Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth. (Each one, Reach one, Teach one)
· Invest in a handful of Godly leaders at chosen prisons, who will be taught to multiply themselves
How will we do this?
· Model the Love of Christ to the most forgotten and taboo people group (modern day lepers)
· Give a clear and simple gospel message and allow offenders to respond
· Help offenders feel “normal” for a day!
· Invite small groups of people to attend these events from the outside (church mission trips into prison and others)
· Gather and hand off these offenders to the leaders/the church inside to be discipled, loved, guided, and be focused on the word of God, the Holy Spirit and their community
Current Events
· We go weekly two by two to the Denver Complex
· Teaching through "41 Deposits" Crucial Conversations for fathers and sons
· On the 3rd Wednesday of the month we hold our team meetings
· Our next trip to the Houston Texas area is in May, ministering to women's units
·Working on a Day of hope event this summer
